Different perspective

I wanna view things from a different angle..

I wanna sit on my Father's wings and see from His view..

Like a Disney movie lol..

Like how she described it =) (you know who you are)

Thanks for praying for me!

Work

Colossians 3:23-24
Whatever you do, work at it with all your heart, as working for the Lord, not for men, since you know that you will receive an inheritance from the Lord as a reward. It is the Lord Christ you are serving.

Whatever you do:
1. Studying/Working
2. Serving in ministries
3. Assignment
4. Health (eat/drink/exercise)

etc...

Work at them with all your heart, not because you wanna please your friends/family/others.., but because you are serving Christ. A motivation for me to do my very best in everything I do..

Jesus cares for whatever we do... wow, amazing!

Valentine's Day

I remember that I spent my Valentine's Day during 1st year of uni taking care of an injured hamster... *searches back for old blog post* I also remember in 2007 I spent Valentine's Day with sther at Midvalley haha. She had this huge bag that she carries with her to college.

Looking forward for tomorrow where I get to hang out with my girl friends from my course =D I'm not ready to spend Valentine's Day with a guy yet.

To the other couples out there, have a memorable Valentines!

Journal

Hm.. I need a new journal. (This blog is written because I wanted to write in my journal and I have reached the end of my current journal)

Cultivated the habit of writing down journals whenever I received words/pictures/want to note down significant things that happened in my life since Jeremiah School 2006. I'm onto my fifth book now =) *reminds self to purchase a new journal*

Writing journal helps me. When I read back what I wrote in the past, then I could see clearly how God has been guiding me in every decisions that I made. How I failed and succeeded; rise and fall. Like a wave. Reminded me each time how faithful God is.

Sometimes when I read back I thought about how childish I reacted to certain things. So I improved in character haha. Gotta study for quiz on Thursday! Tata and Happy CNY to those still celebrating =)

Read this in Proverbs 3:28
Do not say to your neighbor,
"Go, and come back,
And tomorrow I will give it,"
When you have it with you.

Back home for CNY

Driving my bro's car back home is fine, but his car having no radio is sad. 3 of us (Abelene, Amos and I) had to sing almost the whole way home. The rest of the time, I was being 'bullied' by the Phuas (I mean, who hasn't, right?)

I still love you, Ah Phua-s

Big sis coming back with Josh; big bro also coming back after work.

Dad thought I was Abigail
dad to me : eh, why you didn't off your room light upstairs?
me : *continue watching tv* (I just arrived from KL and didn't go to my room)
dad : eh? I thought you are Abigail! *laugh laugh*

Mum thought I was Abigail
mum to me : eh, where's ah jie? ('ah jie' means older sis = pb tan)
me : *continue using the computer*
mum : oh... *continues sweeping floor and pretended she didn't say anything*

I guess changing my hair colour did not help.. It's either Abigail look older or I look younger heh. I'm happy with both.

Happy CNY everyone!

Road Survival Program

I attended City Survival Skill (for ladies only) by Capt K. Bala last year, and I learned so much on staying safe & staying alive. KL is not as safe as Kuantan (although I got robbed in my own house back in Kuantan).

Just now I attended Road Survival Program, also by Capt K. Bala and I'm sure everyone that attended will agree with me that the workshop was worth the RM30. I didn't know so many things! Because I'm a frequent driver, I should take note of all that he had taught us.

Which side of the road you should drive when it's raining?

What you should do when you have a flat tyre?

What tools you need in your car?

What is the use of a spare T-shirt? (haha, his demonstration was funny)

When pump petrol which part you should go?

What should you do when your car / someone else's car caught fire?

If someone is tailgating you?

If someone threw eggs at your windscreen/smashed your windscreen?

and so many more things!

If there's another talk by him, I will definitely go =)
