Last Thursday was the Happening Christmas Party.. With only one week to plan and pull this off, I can say that we really did a good job! From the deco to the sound, games, getting our friends to join us, etc..

YLDP '09

I was the helper and in the worship team for YLDP this year. It was trully a refreshing (although tiring) time at camp where I've personally learnt a few things.. 5 days camp yet the youths there were not burnt out! (from what I observed..)

I helped out in the Level 1 sessions =)

I missed the worship team.. not being able to join them for previous 2 YLDPs after YouthQuake and finally rejoin the group is a privilege =) I'm sure all of us enjoyed each other's company and loveeee serving God in this ministry. I'm looking forward to serving with you all again!

nee and I at Emerge Rising

Emerge Rising was awesome! So many people turned up for that event and I believe it was life changing. I had the opportunity to be an usher for one of the morning service. *smiles and greets* haha..
Nee got 2nd runner up in her Jacket Design competition and Kishan got gold medal for badminton! Bangga...

I finished Sun Tzu assignment! *jumps around*

My finals finishes on the 21st December. So I'll be BACK in Kuantan for Christmas!!

I'm going to watch New Moon this Friday and Princess & the Frog next week! if I got ticket la.. hope and pray....

I can't wait to go back Kuantan next week. Gonna have ice-cream at TC, and meet numi!

This is one class where all of us actually got to know each other. Normally when I enter class, I would just stick to the people I know... As tiring as this subject may be, I would definitely miss the fun-filled activities. Actuarial science students are not boring hahaha... There are so much talents in these people man...

Updates

Sorry for the lack of updates. I've been busy (and lazy) heh..

Finally the hectic week is coming to an end. Just finished Teambuilding and Leadership Skills 'Drama Competition' week. Everyone did excellently! YAY! I'm very satisfied with the 'commercial' videos made (thanks to Francis for helping me with the compilation!)
Sociology presentation also went well, thank God!
Still got 2 more assignments to be done, and then can prepare for finals! =)

Emerge is coming! This Friday to Sunday, and there are lots to activities lined up! Do come... bring everyone.. it is an event that cannot be missed hehe..

I've resumed my vocal class again, this time venturing into classical singing. Gonna brush up on my techniques! la la la la laaaaaaaa~~~~

SPM

A year plus has passed since I last taught Form 4 in SMK Tengku Afzan and now my students are in the midst of one of the most important examination....SPM

I still have fond and not so fond memories of my teaching experience.. At times I was disappointed if they do not do as well as I had expected, or at times they were disobedient. But I missed them =)

So, to all my students (I don't think you know my blog address also haha), if you're reading this means you are not studying! but if you're reading this, all the best in your coming papers. Do your very best and don't give up!

To other SPM-ers as well, I will be praying for you... =)

Lesson from a cut

Do not use blunt knife to cut carrot.

I was exerting too much energy to cut the carrot then the knife lost its position and ter-cut my thumb. Bled. Washed. Put plaster. Wound was closed.. but still hurts. hahaha. And it has been a few days already.

Lesson learnt.

Relax

I feel very happy today... because I'm at home most of the time, not rehearsing. Don't get me wrong, I like going for rehearsals and performance but finally I get to be at home, do housechores..

So, since my class was at 12.30pm, I woke up at 9am. By that time, my housemates were already at uni (my class and their class different). I saw Krispy Kreme doughnuts on the table! Makan...

Then, I washed the dishes.. and I saw other dishes on the dishrack. So, I began to wipe them dry and arrange them back on the shelf. To my horror, I saw lots of ants on the floor.. *spray spray spray*

All the dead ants were on the floor.. so sweep sweep. While sweeping, I realised the floor was sandy. So, mop mop. After mop, got some hair, small small dustbunnies..so vacuum vacuum..

Folded dry clothes, hang clothes and then it's 11.30am. Doing house chores is really relaxing.

And I walked home from uni... was drizzling a lil.. oh, happy day =)

Hi ho!

I'm now in Singapore to visit my grandparents and sister and will be going back to KL for rehearsal this Thursday.

Had YLDP worship practices last weekend. I had a great time with you all, although I was tired most of the time haha. Lost my voice d.

Need to start cleaning when I get back to KL...

Finals..

My first paper will be on the 14th, last paper on the 26th. So, in between those days, no appointments ya! Because I'll be going out everyday too.. =/

Met up with my coursemates for group study. Finishing up past year papers, rushing here and there, discussing about next semester.. It's gonna be great! I'm gonna survive this finals =)

It's like we know smoking is bad for our lungs and fresh air is good for our lungs. So after we smoke, we inhaled more fresh air to compensate. Does not make sense right? So, you cannot mix the good and the bad together..

We have only one mouth, one tongue. Use it wisely. Before you speak, think. When you can't hold back your anger, or there's a latest gossip about your neighbour, take a step back and set your heart right before you talk. I am going to watch my tongue from now onwards.

Orphan

After much persuasion from my friends, I agreed to join them for a movie, 'Orphan'. And as expected they enjoyed laughing at me while I close both eyes and ears whenever the frightening part comes. Worst, during the 'gan cheong' part, suddenly the show off. (in the cinema!).. had to wait for a few minutes to see if the psycho girl will kill the poor little girl or not. I don't like this show. =)

The rest went to Sg Wang after that while Chris, Michael and I headed home. In the bus, this little boy overslept and had to tour the whole KL before reaching to his original destination. So cute.. and kesian also.

Finally all the tests, assignments and quizes are over. Now I'm just preparing for finals! All the best to those who are preparing and having exams... gambateh!

sushi day!

Daph stayed at my place over the weekend to finish up Prob and Stat assignment and programming assignment. We slept at almost 3am @.@.. This morning, we went to Yong's place to make sushi and study programming/finish up assignments!

So, we spent the morning getting ready the bahan-bahan for the sushi... And I learnt sikit-sikit how to make this!

This is...egg! Got 2 colours because there's the cooked part and the 3/4 cooked part.. slowly add layers and roll. The best part of the sushi! YUMMY!!

At first Yen Nee didn't know how to cut sushi. So, I helped her =) This is her first time making sushi.. sudah pakar


The first batch Yong, Christine and Yennee made.. trial and error..

Then I used up the remaining rice (1st batch we cooked half a packet of rice) by rolling the rice on the outside. Messy messy sticky rice..

Yennee made another batch of sushi (we finished the packet of rice). And Pei San cut.. she's very bangga that she cut until so nice. So, *clap clap* hehe

We had too many ingredients left that we curi makan.. Carrot, seaweed, cucumber, crabstick, long bean, etc etc.

Then Yong, Yennee and Pei San decided to finish up the remaining bahan-bahan. So this is Yong's hasil. (Large sushi)

While some of us were finishing our assignment/studying, some of them got bored and decided to take pictures. *I have no idea why Pei San laughs when she's about to kena stab.

Well, I truly enjoyed the company. Yong's place is so homely! Jealous..
