Fathers' Day weekend just passed. I sang Chinese during the bilingual service woooooo... it was tough memorizing those words haha. Good experience =)
Let me tell you a little about my dad. I would brag about my friends and family so now's my dad's turn.
1. He's my GPS
- When I'm lost in KL, I will call him (who is in Kuantan) to direct me. Is it man or my dad who can visualize the traffic lights on the Jalan I was on, and what's on the left and right and which part is uphill or downhill? Superpower.
2. He likes to hear his children play music and sing.
- I notice when any of us siblings play piano/guitar, or start singing, my dad has a certain body magnet that pulled himself towards us... and stood there. Sometimes he would sing along.
3. He likes movie TOO!
- Yes, I go out for movie with my dad whenever I'm back at hometown
4. He likes ice-cream at the beach TOO!
- When I'm not so full after dinner and when I'm back in Kuantan, we will almost certainly go to the beach for McD's ice-cream =) It's different having ice-cream in normal McD shop and McD by the beach. Different, I tell you.
5. I can ask my dad about anything.
- about how he pikat my mum, how was their courtship like, his ministry when he was young, when my computer got virus what should I do, when my car is not functioning normally what should I do... I'll ask my dad questions and somehow he knows the answer. Weird.
6. Do you have a dad who will dance around with his towel in front of the TV and then fart? *hands up* Or will BBM his daughter 'Hi Babe, I miss you'. I didn't know how to respond to that (sorry dad haha I could only laugh)
Fathers will still be boys I guess. They have this little boy character in them that will never leave even after they have a family and get older. Happy fathers' day to all fathers!
