Prayer week and church visitations

This week I've attended 3 prayer meetings. LYPG, combine churches prayer meeting and a leaders' prayer meeting (that we organised because we want to hehee). It was really a time of rest and I'm grateful.

A group of us went to SIB church yesterday night to share about mMYPG, MYPG and LYPG to the youths there. I enjoyed the time of worship and prayer although the songs were unfamiliar and it's hard to cope with the language (BM). The pastor who spoke that night is a Korean and he preached in fluent bahasa! Anyway, numi did a great job talking bout MYPG matters in BM hee..

At night, we 'surprised' Michel for her 18th birthday. But it did not work because she was quite blur that night to understand what was going on.. (and many other reasons)

This morning, I went to Tamil Methodist Church!! That church is a church that unites in prayer. I admire them waking up so early for prayer meeting before the service starts. Their services starts at 8am. I arrived at 7.45am and the prayer was already on. During worship, I didn't understand a word they were singing (duh) but the Holy Spirit is definitely in the church, among the people. Really an experience. Anyway, I'm thankful that I was given the time to talk about MYPG. Don't know if it's clear enough but I hope the message could be sent across.. I had a great time praying with the Tamil Methodist Church congregation. =)

In an hour time, I'll be on my way to Camp 18-up! Yes, I missed a day of camp. I'll be there until Thursday! Pray for me, pray for LYPG, mMYPG, the committee and all who will be coming!

GIFT

Yesterday during LYPG, numi shared on spiritual gifts. How she discovered hers, examples of gifts, etc. And Aunty Tabitha came out with this :

Initiative. We need to have the initiative to practise our gift.

Faithful. When we discover our gift, let us not just leave it there. Be faithful in continuing practising them.

It's THERE!

I'm really glad to see more people coming to LYPG. I've counted the members over this 5 weeks, and the total members so far is 45! Most importantly, God is present at every meeting.

To all the committee members, I'm trully grateful for all your help. We made mistakes, trying to improve, thinking of new ideas and how to make every LYPG work and in addition, planning for the coming mMYPG!! It's really a fun ride.

To the rest out there from Kuantan, if you're thinking of joining us, don't think! hehe... Just come..

Testimony

Your life testimony would be the one that will be an encouragement to others. It can impact lives without you realising it. It has power. Because it tells of God's working through you.

So, let's learn to share our testimonies, rather than just keeping them to ourselves. =)

I was really happy after our previous LYPG. Hearing testimonies and encouragements, Bible verses, just worshipping together... in different languages! I'm definitely trying to improve on my Chinese. hee..

3rd LYPG

I was really encouraged today. We had our 3rd LYPG and basically today's focus was love (Rom 12). There were a lot of new faces and I sort of freaked out a lil at first because I didn't know how to handle a larger group. But it was all good =) 25 ppl came and I pray that they will continue coming, bringing along more of their friends!

Didn't have much time for fellowship tho. We ended 10 minutes late (again), so I guess we have to extend the prayer meetings to 5.30pm instead! hee

Attn : Committee members and church representatives, we're going to have meeting every Saturday 2pm @ Amos' place (near KBC, beside the nursery)
