V-Day

Since I was alone today, below was what I did:

1. Played guitar
2. Composed song with Esther (full story here)
3. Youtubed
4. Bread + Chicken floss for lunch
5. Sing, sing, sing, sing (I think I sang for a few hours.. hahahaha)
6. Vacuumed my room
7. Rescued hamster A from another hamster B..
(hamster B attacked hamster A non-stop. Hamster A cried for help, climbing all over the cage to escape. It bled alot. I put it in the transparent ball for it to run around my room. After 30 minutes of running here n banging everywhere, it fell asleep..so cute..)
8. Continue singing
9. Bathed
10. Talked to mum, naomi, n esther on the phone
11. Mushroom soup with pieces of bread dipped in it for dinner.

Yeah, I'm a home person. So, I like staying at home..don't need to pity me if I'm alone..haha.. (I'm saying this cz a lot of ppl thinks that if a person is left all by him/herself, he/she is very kesian). It's my nature =D
I'm easily satisfied also. See? A bowl of instant mushroom soup with bread is good enough. haha.. It's tasty also.... and if u leave the soup for around 15 minutes, it gets more creamy!! Yum~

Happy Valentines Day everyone!

numi leaving soon d.......

vacuum cleaner

My sis dropped by my place this morning-afternoon (somewhere that time) to pass me extra towel, blanket and a vacuum cleaner! Ahhhhhhhh.... nice..

KL is different from Kuantan. It gets dusty everyday and I got to sweep and mop (if I got time) everyday. I don't mind that.. I just mind sweeping hairs. Stick to the broom and keep coming off and fly everywhere. Plus the dust..

So, my dad got me a tiny vacuum cleaner which looks kinda cool. It's called 'hand-held cyclonic vacuum cleaner'. Ha...the name also cool right?

I excitedly opened the box, tried out all the different nozzles and vacuum styles yada yada. However, I didn't check the on and off button. The moment I plugged in and on the switch, I fell backwards. Yes, funny. laugh. How I know the power so strong woh.. and it was on.. I wasn't prepared.......

But I had fun cleaning my room with the new hand-held cyclonic vacuum cleaner! La la la la la la~~

I donated blooddahh..

Okay, I must make a big deal out of this because I finally get to donate blood! hee hee hee hee hee...

Around 3 weeks ago I went to Metrotabernacle, and they had blood donation drive over there. So, since I had not donated blood before, I thought of giving it a try. After filling up the forms, excitedly, I passed it up....and I failed the first test. My weight. 1 more kg to be eligible!

Disappointed, I went back home, determined to gain another kg... but I lost another. So, I had to gain 2 kgs! CNY came and gone.

Today, I went to CHC, and they, too, had blood donation drive! So, I filled up the forms, hoping that my weight will be 45kg. Lined up, waited for more than 3 hours, and... I qualified! SO HAPPY! I sang song the whole time while donating blood. lol

BUT, the nurse told me that this would be my first and last time. She said I'm not a suitable donor since I have tiny veins and my blood flows really slow.. (Jie, can explain?). I had to squeeze extra harder that huge pink thing which made my hand cramp after that..tiring. Well, at least I've tried donating!

My way?

As I was switched on to my thinking mode (usually, when I couldn't sleep), I was reflecting upon my life. I realised one thing: I don't like the feeling of regret. As a matter of fact, I don't even like others to think that I'm regretting hahah..

I don't know if you know this really old song called 'My way', which is like a storylike-song. It's about a man who is at his deathbed and saying how much he has accomplished in life because he did it his way. But doing things our way is really really imperfect no matter how hard we try.

"And now, the end is near;
And so I face the final curtain.
My friend, Ill say it clear,
I'll state my case, of which Im certain.

I've lived a life thats full.
I've traveled each and evry highway;
And more, much more than this,
I did it my way.

Regrets, Ive had a few;
But then again, too few to mention.
I did what I had to do
And saw it through without exemption.

I planned each charted course;
Each careful step along the byway,
But more, much more than this,
I did it my way."

I just put a few stanza's of the song. I've heard this song sung so many times by uncles, dad, etc. I sang it too just for fun, and Frank Sinatra is still awesome.. heh..

But from the past few years, I knew that if I wanna live my life without regrets - not a few, not one, not half, but no regrets, I have to surrender my life to the One who sees and knows everything - my past, present, and future.

. . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . .

From form 5 onwards, I'm sure all of us had to make decisions. Stay for form 6, college, pre-U, foundation programme, diploma, scholarship or no scholarship, which scholarship to choose (for those outstanding ones), start working, migrate?

And then after that, more choices had to be made to decide how your future is going to be like. Degree, loans, scholarships, change course, which course to choose, which university/college, break?

And there are other choices like, where to eat, what you wanna do today, should you sleep in or late, etc.

I've made my decision, and the past is just for me to remember, not to hold on.

There were (and will be) people came (will come) saying,
"Oh, you should have done (this and that), apply for (this and that).."

or

"If you were to come to me earlier, I would have told you not to (do this and that)"

and many more phrases that would make you feel really guilty like
"You should just watch this movie instead of that laa... Why you watched that lousy movie??"
But honestly, I really do not think that I've made bad choices or 'mistakes'. Some 'mistakes' I've made brought me to where I am today. It is not for me to say whether today could have been better or not, but since the past few years, I'm all smiles (or serious.. yeah.. I got a serious look), and without frowns! Just trust in the Lord!

When I'm on my deathbed, I prefer to say,
"...and more, much more than these, I did it His way.. Regrets I have none.."

i miss singing...

When I told numi (at the beach the other night) that I haven't been singing for quite a while, she sort of went @.@ and squealed or somewhere along that line lah.

She said, "Pibi tan! It's so not you not to sing! I mean, you sing in the car, in megamall, at home, around the school, everywhere!" (Btw, numi.. not everywhere la.. I didn't sing on the way up to pelindung..)

Yeah, I feel as though as there's so much to let out when I'm keeping all my voice inside. It's one of my way to let my brain relax.

I miss singing my heart out as if the world has no ears!

BUT over here, I have to refrain, because
I don't wanna disturb the peace in this condo (especially when it echoes),
I don't wanna sing alone without my buddy buddy*,
I don't wanna interrupt the songs from my housemate's laptop, and
I don't really like having strangers staring at me while i sing.

So, what I did today? I sang silently after my Calculus tutorial when everyone was busy discussing answer, and I made sure noone was listening. I sang in the noisy canteen after having my lunch. hee hee hee...

*buddy buddy means the people whom I used to sing with everywhere, anytime, anyhow, whatever songs, go gila... They know what I mean heh

Just wondering........

I was wondering if you have come across people who do not have to do anything but just pass by you, and manage to carry this 'presence' with him/her. Makes you wonder what was it that would attract u to find out who he/she is; makes you wanna try to be like him/her.

I was wondering if just a normal person can carry that small presence, he/she could impact lives!

I wondered if I could.

And then I wondered when Jesus walks by me, He carries a greater presence. He impacts the world. That makes me wanna know Him more and wanna be more like Him.

I know now that I can.

scrub scrub scrub

Bye Kuantan...for now....

Went to tc (beach) with numi yesterday night because it'll be our last night at tc before she leaves to Aussie. It was really nice, windy, and a great time of catching up. Just talking about random stuff haha.. I miss the sound of the waves. Because it was too cold last night, and I was still full (dinner @ Aunty Alline's), we skipped the ice-cream.

Anyway, I arrived home (in KL) around 7.40pm and started cleaning immediately! Laundry, changing bedsheet, sweeping (over and over again cz the dust keep coming back) and cleaning the toilet.

WOAH

The TOILET. At first I was just using the broom... and then I noticed, "Eh, the black/brown spots on the tiles can come out? The colour of the tiles are lighter blue!"

So, I picked up the sponge, start pouring the toilet cleaner detergent and scrub tile by tile. (I'm sure those of you who are close to me will know that once I start doing something I'm pretty determined to do the best)

And then I noticed that the upper wall is different than the bottom part of the wall. Hahaha.. I began scrubbing everywhere until every spot of the toilet is clean. The water was brown because of the dirt. walao.. means all these while I've been bathing in a not-so-clean toilet.... @.@

After all the scrubbing, I decided to do some maths questions. However, my right hand (i used to scrub) was shaking like crazy. Couldn't write. So I'm here blogging! Tada!
