Light and 'darkness'
Darkness only exists in the absence of light. (True statement)
Light only exists in the absence of darkness. (False statement)
Light still exists even if darkness comes. And darkness can only come if light is being blocked. That does not mean that when there is darkness, the light completely disappears... rite?
So, darkness has no substance.. Why afraid of the 'dark'? You just need to unblock the source of light..
=)

To those who do not know me well or do not know me at all,
I'm glad that you're reading this blog and I hope you'll be blessed in any way.
However, before I go on blogging more, I need to clarify some things:
Sometimes, I update in a detailed manner for my family and friends whom I keep in touch with. This IS the purpose why I am blogging in the first place. It is not a diary, it simply is how I would talk to my friends and family whenever I'm telling them stories. This blog has no matters of the heart or secrets. And I do not portray any negative emotions here =) Therefore, please do not assume things and judge my feelings.
haha.. this post sounded strict.. I'm not 'tembak-ing' anyone.. just wanna say something before anything happens.
It's because I got a comment saying that my blog is very detailed and sounded very personal (but I don't share personal stuff - just my thoughts that can be shared in public and also the event of the day). And because of this, I have to make things clear first cz I don't really like to have people to think that they know me (and my problems) but they don't (and I wasn't facing any problems that time). And then they would go, "Don't deny la.. no need to hide your feelings la.. etc etc.." hm...

I got a feeling that this will be a long update, but I want to do a quick one. Just some highlights of the days. So, it'll be quite messy yah.. Let's just see how this post goes..
Sunday
After church, my sis and I met up at Sunway Pyramid to go for grocery shopping. Last Wednesday, I was alone in the library studying when she messaged me asking if I'm free on Sunday.
"I wanna main masak-masak at your place."
I told her that she has to cook for my housemates as well... heehee.. because all these while, whenever we are not eating outside, they will cook for me. She decided to make pasta which tasted yummy! Haha.. my housemates 'sapu-ed' everything, although they were very full. Maklumlah semuanya laki-laki kan?
I had to take early dinner because I had to leave for practice, as usual. My day ended at 12am.
Monday
Had calculus test 1, 5 questions, 40 mins, 60 marks. 3 of the questions uncertain.. heh heh.. I'm not worried if my parents see this (cz I told my dad bout it d). Only after the exam I realised my one of my answer is not logical..bleh.
At night, Jeremy brought me to look see look see KLPac haha... abe gonna perform there right? It's really a beautiful place!
Today
I tried the Indian dye (henna) on my hand. heee.. just for fun. But the drawing is not as fine as i thought it would be.
Off to assignment! =D

typical uni life
Next week is gonna be a tiring week. In fact, I'm beginning to feel 'it' already. hahaha.. So, do keep me in prayer that I won't overwork or get sick.. =)

Monday 23/2/09 - Test
Friday 27/2/09 - 2 tests
Plus memorising 5 songs for this Sunday (22/2/09)
2 tutorials to be done for Saturday (21/2/09), and
an assignment to be handed over next Thursday (25/2/09)
The subjects for my tests are all Mathematics. Since, 4 out of 6 of my subjects are Maths subjects..heehee.. And these tests and assignment contribute 10% to each subject. (just for your information)
After 1 year having no tests and assignments, it feels normal to have all these stuff piling up and to feel the stress again... haha..

the four letter word - pray.
I went for a churchwide prayer meeting last night. It's been so long since I get to go to a corporate prayer meeting.. It was a really wonderful experience of meeting Him and having about 500 people praying and worshipping Him together. But although there were so many people, He was very personal..
Attending this prayer meeting really reminded me of:
FWP 08 (Fast Wait Pray) where the leaders come together to wait upon the Lord.. I got to meet many awesome people there whom inspired me in many ways..
LYPG Kuantan (Local Youth Prayer Gathering) we had last year weekly for 2 months.. (now it's a monthly gathering). I learnt a lot while planning for each prayer meetings. Having confirmations with numi on the devotion passages, planning the agendas, inviting as many people as we can fr various churches to come... the best thing was to have 3 languages coming together to pray!
mMYPG (mini Malaysian Youth Prayer Gathering).. Although I was MIA almost the whole time, I remember just estimating 100 to come.. turned out to be around 200+ people.. The planning for this event really stretched my faith (and I'm sure the committee's as well).
P&W with numi. We started off somewhere after f5, somehow.. I forgot how.. We ended up becoming each other's confirmation.. and could go on praying and worshipping for 3-4 hours. Great times!
Inpromptu prayer meetings. This is something numi would organise. She would gather the previous HG (Higher Ground) leaders and some present ones to come and just pray (when she feels there is a need to do so).
My CG leader wanna start a monthly CG prayer meeting which I think is good! And from March onwards I'll be joining the KLPJ LYPG meetings because I won't be having replacement classes on Saturdays already!
There's an urgent need to pray for this nation. God is calling so many young people to take up this challenge and start doing something. You can start by praying. It's really not a coincidence to have people from different denominations and states to start gathering together for this cause.
And today when I saw Johanan's message on my chatbox, I was leaping (inside)! haha... MYPG people, you reading this? Btw, Johanan, I need your contact number/email for me to keep in touch with ya.. =) Probably you can start one LYPG in Russia eh?
