Letters

I used to snail mail a lot when I was a young teenager. Writing letters, then post to different people from different places. When I saw my lil sis writing a thank you note for the postman before she sends the brithday card to my grandpa recently, I remember my sis and I would write "thank you mr. postman!" at the back of the letter as well.

You think he smiled when he saw that? Because now I know that being a postman is tough!

I was the inofficial postwoman yesterday together with numi. (hahah).. We went driving around Kuantan to as many churches as we can, posting letters about MYPG (Malaysian Youth Prayer Gathering). The whole thing took us 3 hours (8pm to 11pm) and we were quite shock to see people still working in some of the churches at that hour.

So, we manage to talk to some of the people there, and some, we just left them in the mailbox. We manage to post 16 letters out of 21 letters. Not bad la right? Tonight we shall post 2 more, and the other 3 surrender to the post office. Let the postman do the job. He does it much better..

Right now, I'm emailing, sms-ing, and calling the leaders to inform them that we have posted the letters. It feels so nice to get things done!

Thank God for postmen!
