I've been driving a lot these days. Most of the time alone. This gives me time to think, pray, sing songs, and think more... especially when there is traffic jam =.= *note: thinking is not daydreaming hehe.
I've been thinking of what little things I can do to make huge differences in others and myself (for the better). Started to list things down in my mind. Because I want to do something other than my daily routines.
1. Smile at the guard when he opens the (what-do-you-call-it) tiang for you on the way out and in my condo... regardless if he talks a lot or if he took his time
2. Complain less
3. Say "thank you" to the people who served you, even if they served you without a smile. eg waiter, shop owners, friends, etc
4. Help the cafeteria people to put your dirty plates into the basin after eating... so that the table won't be dirty for the next group of students who are going to eat.
5. Be nice to the drivers on road. Give them way and then give them a smile. Or show signal of apologizing if you blocked them... instead of producing angry drivers, let's try to create as many non-angry drivers on the road, shall we?
6. Learn to compliment others sincerely
7. If you have nothing better to say, zip your mouth. =)
8. Admit you're wrong if you are wrong. In other words, time to let your pride down
9. Taxi drivers are friendly and it's good if we don't treat them as our 'driver'. Try talking to them! (Gotta becareful too tho)
So, do let me know if you have other suggestions =)
